Personal & Business Assistant – Marketing Focus (Melbourne Based)

We’re looking for a reliable, organised and trustworthy Personal Assistant to support both business and day-to-day personal needs in a part-time role. This position suits someone who enjoys variety, is proactive, and is comfortable supporting across work, home and family tasks.

We’ve recently expanded into Sydney and Cairns, with more locations and opportunities on the horizon. For the right person, there is significant opportunity for growth, with the potential for this part-time role to evolve into a full-time position as the business continues to scale.

The role includes:

Social media & marketing

  • Creating, filming and assisting with Instagram & TikTok content

  • Confidently experimenting with reels, trends and short-form video

  • Posting, scheduling and basic editing

  • Helping grow engagement through creative testing and ideas

  • Reviewing content performance and assisting with basic reporting and insights

Admin & business support

  • Reporting directly to the owner and assisting with day-to-day priorities

  • Inbox and enquiry assistance

  • Booking admin and calendar coordination

  • Preparing event sheets and proposal documentation

  • General organisation and system upkeep

Proposal & on-site job support

Where hours allow, support on-site jobs. Additional hours are available, and the right candidate will be open to assisting with on-site proposal work as the role grows

  • Assisting with the preparation of proposals and events

  • Packing, prepping and organising items for upcoming jobs

  • Supporting on-site during proposal setups when required

  • Assisting with pack-downs and post-event organisation

Personal & household support

  • Light house tidying and cleaning

  • Organising cupboards, storage and shared spaces

  • General household prep and personal task assistance

General support

  • Keeping workspaces and storage areas organised

  • Helping ensure everything is prepared and ready for upcoming bookings

Child-related support (occasional)

  • Nanny-style assistance when required

  • Supervising or helping with children as needed

Example of what a week may look like (approx. 24 hours)

Monday (approx. 6 hours)

  • Reviewing weekend social media content

  • Scheduling content for the week across Instagram & TikTok

  • Monitoring emails and responding to enquiries

  • General admin check-in to set the week up

Wednesday (approx. 6 hours)

  • Monitoring emails and enquiries

  • Preparing event sheets and proposal details

  • Ordering stock and supplies

  • General business admin and organisation

Friday (approx. 6 hours)

  • Monitoring and responding to emails

  • Prepping proposals and materials for the weekend

  • General cleaning and tidy-up of storage and workspace

  • Assisting with house tidy and personal organisation tasks

Saturday (approx. 6 hours – onsite)

  • Assisting with proposal setup and styling

  • Content creation during proposals (filming reels, behind-the-scenes, photos)

  • On-site support during proposals

  • Pack-down and post-event organisation

(Some weeks may vary slightly depending on bookings and events.)

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is highly organised, proactive and trustworthy

  • Is confident using Instagram & TikTok and enjoys filming and experimenting with content

  • Is comfortable working independently and on-site when required

  • Has a flexible, can-do attitude

  • Is respectful, discreet and reliable

  • Has experience as a PA, EA, admin, social media, events, household support or childcare (preferred but not essential)

  • Holds a valid Working With Children Check (WWC) or is willing to obtain one

Hours: Part-time, approx. 24 hours per week
Location: Working from home and onsite in Seaford
Pay: $32–$36 per hour + super, negotiable for the right person
Growth: Opportunity to increase hours and move into a full-time role as the business continues to expand
Extra hours: Available during busy periods and additional proposal bookings
